Here’s my new passion: Nicole by OPI The Grape Debate:
LOVE IT!
I am a pink colour girl but the purple really got me. I finished this and I could not stop to stare at it. It’s so intense!
And my Jordana’s Lilac Frost really is a match for this polish.
Although Luana thinks it’s a awesome colour, I was particularly disappointed with it. Colorama’s Lavanda is way too translucent for me. For you to get the flask colour you go by three or more coats. No way.
So… Frankenpolish!
On my thumb, Colorama's Lavanda and on my index the first version of my frankenpolish (just some drops of Colorama's Ametista)
One thing I’ve discovered about frankenpolish is that you never can change the nature of your base. If the base polish is translucent, your frankenpolish is going to be also translucent. Here’s this recipe:
Colorama’s Lavanda as base
Lots of glitter: Hits’ Glitter Forte, Jordana’s Silver Glitter and Speciallità’s Diamante Glitter
Some Claire’s Mood Mellow/Crazy
Some drops of Colorama’s Ametista
Some drops of Colorama’s pink reflexes
It looks like this:
I couldn't remove the tranlucent aspect of Lavanda (one layer). But looks good with more layers.
This is one of the frankenpolish I tried this month. I do not have the recipe to give (because I’ve never written them down) but the colours I’ve used are:
OPI’s Black Cherry Chutney as base
A bit of Hits red glitter
A lot of Ludurana’s Vitoria 3D
A lot of China Glaze’s TTYL
I tried to make a 3D frankenpolish but the concentration of the holographic thing has to be very high. With some imagination you could see the 3D effect. It looked like this on my nail: it’s beautiful red shade with lots of glitter.
Nice post about red « MaNails. I am very impressed with the time and effort you have put into writing this story. I will give you a link on my social media blog. All the best!
This is one of my birthday presents: LA Girl Matte Rose. Two coats of it and you’re good to go. I dries fast enough for me not to wreck this. I’ve put a sticker but I didn’t want to put a top coat over my nails. It could remove the matte aspect.
Don’t need to say that the sticker never made it to the end of my shower.
Here my other One Less Lonely Girl polish: Step 2 The Beat of my s2.
Nicole by OPI Step 2 The Beat of my s2
As soon as I saw this polish it reminded me of some Impala ones that I had when I wasn’t allergic to it:
Impala Special Glitter Collection
They were beautiful but very bad executed project. The polish took forever to dry and the hearts and stars confetti were almost never glued to your nail. Nicole by OPI made a very good job with Step 2 The Beat Of My S2: the polish dries very fast, and the hearts have survived shower.

I’m not a Bieber fan, but I bought two of this collection without knowing about it. This one is Make U Smile. It’s a very fashion polish since it has this big silver glitter. It reminds me of Deborah Lippmann’s most famous glitter polish Across The Universe.
One Less Lonely Girls Make U Simle
When my sister arrived from the US I was very anxious to get my polishes (which happened only in April, 9th). I saw it and I really impressed me. It is a beautiful polish but I didn’t make me smile. When you apply it on the nail only some of the big silver glitter comes with the brush. The polish dries very fast and really glues the big glitter to your nail.
Argentos Fiore and Make U Smile. Two coats of each polish
Here’s two official videos showing the shades of the collection. I really them all. Do I have the Bieber fever?
My birthday was March 18th. I’ve celebrated it with my friends at Acerva-PR (my homebrew associtation) St. Patrick’s party.
Revlons Plum Baby, Andreas 34, Konad plate m63 and Speciallitàs silver glitter
So, as a gift to myself (because I deserve it), I’ve ordered three new Konad Plates, a some polishes from Ulta (my sister went to the USA) and a lot from Cherry Culture.
